PORT OKANAGAN PROPOSAL.

Hotel and Site Proposal, 2022

The Port Okanagan Hotel proposal is located at the end of Lake Okanagan, in Vernon BC. The hotel is located right on the lake front and provides directed views out onto the bay. The diagraming above shows the important park connection from the beach to Lakeshore road creating an amenity space for hotel and home owners in the area. The second diagram shows the entrance points considered for the hotel as well as the consideration of glazing and penetrations to highlight the surrounding landscape. The tower of the hotel has also been oriented to highlight these views.

• Drafting the plans in Rhino 6

• Creating the graphic style in Illustrator

• Diagraming the big moves in the proposal using Illustrator

• Coordinating the colour scheme with co-workers from marketing
